My name is Michael. I started learning how to deal poker professionally when I was 20 years old. I’m very thankful for the poker industry and how it has provided me with a life and income as I enter my 12th year in the business. I originally moved to Texas seeking mentorship to become a knowledgeable floor supervisor and to play a key role in a management team, but I’ve found that my true passion is instructing people who have the initiative to learn. Dealing is a discipline that has significantly improved my quality of life. I truly believe poker here in Texas is something special, and there’s no better time to be part of it. I have helped dozens of people learn how to deal or improve their skills. If you are serious about getting your foot in the door of the poker industry, it would be an honor to share that knowledge with you.
Why Choose Texas Poker Culture Dealer School?
Transform Your Passion into a Profession
You do not need to attend dealer school if you want to be a poker dealer. You can start for free by watching YouTube videos that break down the basic mechanics and practicing at home, while also learning the rules through TDA and WSOP. This dealer school, however, is for those who want to become well-trained professionals. Over the 8 weeks, you’ll learn nuances that you can’t pick up from just watching videos or practicing with friends. Imagine being ready to deal at a real table, in a real poker room, with significant stacks of money in play. By the end of the 8 weeks, you’ll be prepared to handle all of that—and much more.
